Continuing work on a new side project and added a few game type identifiers for rivalry/playoff games as well as highlighting the winning team. Really enjoying @eleven_ty after working with it the last two days.
Dove head-first into playing with 11ty today for a new side project to house photo albums from this past season (and eventually future seasons). Definitely looking forward to iterating and improving on this.

Being able to edit photos in Lightroom CC on the metro on the iPad has definitely made my commute much more tolerable over the past week.
I don’t recognize any small wins at work nearly enough, but today that changes:
- Today I launched a new event site for our annual conference. We have a second lined up that will also follow suit in the coming weeks. 🚀
Was an extra chilly day today so I tried to emulate my moms “arroz con pollo”, featuring chicken seitan instead of chicken.
Not quite like how mom made it, but turned out pretty close 👍🏾
Took way longer than I expected but finally was able to transfer all of my content out of Notion.
Decided to make the jump to using the11” iPad Pro as my everyday carry, replacing the 2013 13” MBP docked behind it.
Finally going through photos from last weeks game and this sequence was the start of a string of unlucky breaks.
Wanted to try something new and treated myself to the latest version of the Raspberry Pi 🖥
🏈 - The boys unfortunately fell to South County tonight in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Im definitely looking forward to seeing what the Titans can do next year after the great run they had this past season.

🎵 - Denzel Curry - Ta13oo has been on constant repeat since its release. I’ve really enjoyed seeing him grow as an artist and branch into some different sounds.
After spending the last 2 years or so almost exclusively designing in the browser, using Sketch outside of quick mockups or wireframes feels super sluggish.

Tonight, I was able to get my jekyll powered portfolio site to build locally on my PC running Windows 10. Looking forward to testing out how the site handles switching from PC to OSX tomorrow. 👨💻
If Figma was able to get offline mode working, I’d be able to fully switch off Sketch. 🤔
Yucky day outside means spending time organizing files on my PC. Now if only Dropbox could move a bit quicker with this library transfer.

Friday night is as good a time as any to start learning about CSS Grid.

Have been super impressed with Aldi’s lineup of meatless vegan/vegetarian options. Can’t decide on if the meatless italian meatballs or the chicken patties are better 🤔
I think moving forward, this blog will serve as a little journal of sorts featuring thoughts/observations, things I’m enjoying in the moment and photographs.
